Saxifrage Studio is excited to present a week-long art camp where your child can unleash their creativity in a safe and fun studio setting. Over five days, campers will explore their imagination through a range of sci-fi pop art projects using recycled materials, mixed media and painting techniques. Activities include making robots from recycled plastic pop bottles & caps, creating neon night cityscapes, and more.
Day camp runs from Monday to Friday
Camps begin at 10:00 am (drop off 9:45 - 10:00 am) and run until 4:00 pm (pick up between 4:00 – 4:15 pm).
A typical day will include: morning art project, an afternoon excursion, outdoor play, and free time at the creation station. Please bring: Outdoor clothes appropriate for the weather, water bottle, lunch& snacks.

March 16 -20, 2026- - Winter Blues Busters

COST: $335 per week
Saxifrage Studio is thrilled to offer a week-long art camp for young artists to explore and develop their artistic skills in a safe and supportive studio environment.
Over five days, students will experiment with a variety of artistic techniques:
- Cyanotype Printing: a unique photographic technique that creates cyan-blue images using sunlight. This activity introduces students to the interplay of light and chemistry in art.
- Scratch Painting: Sgraffito (to scratch) painting techniques and expressive ideas in art to create unique textures and compositions.
- Encaustics (Fire Painting): an ancient & therapeutic painting process using molten pigmented beeswax, damar resin and a blow torch to produce beautiful relief artworks.
